Position Overview
GS Energy Group is seeking a Commissioning Engineer / Cx Specialist
to support commissioning activities for HVAC systems, controls, and building systems across commercial and
institutional projects. The position requires strong technical understanding of building systems and field
verification activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field observations and commissioning site visits
- Execute pre-functional and functional performance testing
- Review equipment submittals and sequences of operation
- Support controls verification and BAS review activities
- Assist with TAB review and troubleshooting activities
- Prepare commissioning reports and project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, owners, and project teams
- Participate in project meetings and construction coordination
- Support building systems optimization activities
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- HVAC and controls knowledge preferred
- Experience with commercial building systems preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and BCxP certification is preferred
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with candidate qualifications,
relevant experience, certifications, and overall fit for the position.
