Position Overview
GS Energy Group is seeking motivated Engineering Interns interested
in energy engineering, commissioning, HVAC systems, building performance, and sustainability consulting.
This role provides exposure to real-world projects involving commercial, institutional, and industrial
facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support energy audits and field assessments
- Assist with HVAC system evaluations and site investigations
- Participate in commissioning and functional testing activities
- Support technical calculations and documentation
- Assist with data collection and analysis
- Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and project deliverables
- Support utility analysis and building performance studies
- Participate in project meetings and site visits
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical, Architectural, or related Engineering field
- Interest in HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and building systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel preferred
- Revit, AutoCAD, or energy modeling experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Compensation
Internship compensation will be commensurate with academic
background, technical skills, experience level, and overall fit for the position.
